Dr Russ Vince

Russ Vince is Professor of Leadership and Change, Director of the center for Strategic Change and Leadership at the School of Management, University of Bath, and Honorary Professor of Management at the University of St Andrews. His research has focused on learning and reflection in organizations, emotions, management education, leadership development, and the psychodynamic study of organizations.

His books include Managing Change, (Policy Press, 1996), Group Relations, Management and organization (Oxford University Press, 1999), Rethinking Strategic Learning, (Routledge, 2004); Organising Reflection (Ashgate, 2004); and the Handbook of Experiential Learning and Management Education (Oxford University Press, 2007).

Russ is Academic Director of the Leading Consultation program run by the International Forum for Social Innovation (IFSI), Paris, France. He is an internationally recognized expert in organizational learning and has led developments in the theory and practice of critical action learning.
