CE Approvals
Licensing boards regulations and requirements can change. We will attempt to share all the latest guidance as best we can. However, for any specific concerns or queries, we recommend you contact your board directly to obtain further clarification or a ruling.
Confer is approved as a continuing education provider by the following organizations.
The National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC)
Confer has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7136. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Confer is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs
What accreditation does Confer currently have?
Confer has approval from the following boards to offer CE (but please note that these do not necessarily apply to all events or products)
- NBCC
- ASWB
- NYSED (Psychology)
- NYSED (Psychoanalysis)
- NYSED (Social Work)

Are you approved by the American Psychological Association?
Not currently, but we are in the process of applying for full coverage for both our live events and homestudy content, pending approval. We’ll update this FAQ to reflect any further updates as we go.
Are you approved by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB)?
Yes, we gained approval from ASWB in late 2022. We are now working on our 2023 programme where some individual programmes will be available to US social workers. Please check the ‘CE’ details for each event or ‘Talk on Demand’ to check the applicable accreditation.
Are you approved by New York state?
Yes, we have approval to offer CE for Psychologists, Psychoanalysts and Social Workers in New York State.
This may vary from event to event, so please check the CE details on each individual event or recording.
Which other organizations / bodies will you look to for further accreditation?
