Roopa Farooki

Roopa Farooki is an award-winning writer and NHS doctor. She is the author of six novels and a memoir, Everything is True, A Junior Doctor’s Story of Life, Death and Grief in a Time of Pandemic, which she wrote during the first forty days of the Covid-19 crisis. Her books have been translated into over a dozen languages. She is also a lecturer on the Masters in Creative Writing at the University of Oxford and is on the editorial team of Writers Mosaic, a Royal Literature Fund initiative that supports new writing across genres and cultures in the UK.
