In this opening statement our chairperson from the original event Wayne Mertins-Brown has recorded a short welcome message to set the tone for the following videos.
Wayne is a Psychotherapy Counselor and Group Facilitator. Now working in private practice, he has spent many years working within charities, with a particular focus on the mental well-being and sexual health of those within the LGBT+ community. He has significant experience in counselling Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME), individuals. In particular, gay asylum seekers. Wayne is also a Nichiren Buddhist.
