Dr Catriona Mellor

Catriona Mellor is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist working in the adolescent inpatient environment. She is undertaking foundation training in Eco-psychology and Nature Based Practice facilitation. She is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Sustainability Committee. Through this she is working with the College and the Child and Adolescent Faculty in their response to the Climate Emergency. She is exploring the idea of ‘Nature Friendly’, environmentally sustainable, inpatient units. She is working in partnership with The Wildlife Trust with the aim of delivering a novel, family focused, Green Care intervention for the inpatient population.
